【公告】2026年秋季學期韓國外國語大學交換生申請訊息

有關2026年秋季學期韓國外國語大學交換生申請訊息，謝謝!!

 

一、轉呈該校來信相關說明，請務必詳閱以下內容及各項連結內資訊：

1. KOREAN LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

  1. Intensive Korean Program

Intensive Korean Program (200 hours, 10 weeks) is a partially fee-paying program.

Please note that this is a non-credit program. Even if the students enroll in this program, they are still required to register for at least one regular academic course during the semester.

  • Course Fee:

i) Students with a major or minor in Korea/Korean Language, East-Asian Studies, Oriental Studies, International Studies with a focus on Korea, Translation with a focus on Korean

→ 100% Fee Waiver

ii) Major/Minor not listed above: 1,660,000 KRW = 800,000 (student) + 860,000 (HUFS)

→ 50% Fee Waiver

iii) Spring/Fall Semester Program: Fee Waiver Provided to the students

iv) Summer/Winter Program: Fee Waiver Not Provided to the students. Students have to pay all the tuition fees.

*All students who wish to take the Intensive Korean course will need to submit a Korean Program Study Plan on the Google form which will be provided after the nomination from your university and students submitting basic information at the HUFS Exchange Portal. 

  1. Survival Korean Language Program

Survival Korean Program includes 25 hours of coursework over 6 weeks and does not come with any course fee for all participating students. This course aims to help make the Korean language more approachable for students who wish to ease into the language during their stay at HUFS. Students may apply for this program regardless of their major (including Korean majors). Application for this program will open via a separate application form closer to the start of the semester.

  • Course Fee: None

 

2.  DORMITORY PLACEMENTS

Please note that due to limited spacing on our on/off campus dormitories, not every student will be guaranteed a spot at the time of application. Our on/off campus dorms can suit approximately 150 exchange students each semester (The number of availability is subject to change each semester). 

Dormitory assignments will be given on a first come first serve basis when students apply for it through the online application on the HUFS portal website. Students will be considered for dormitory placement based on their answers via this online application and NOT the separate Google form submission. Please keep in mind that selecting the dormitory option on the Google form does not guarantee students a spot in the dormitory.

Our office will do our best to accommodate students who apply for dorms and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause for students.


For students who need a guideline on finding accommodation, here is a list of alternative housing near campus. 

 

3. GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

***In addition to the Coordinator Guide, we do have a pre-arrival guide which is student-centric (https://exchange.hufs.ac.kr/) but nonetheless covers more information regarding courses, dorms, etc.

  1. Visa Information
  • Once exchange students obtain a D-2-6 visa, they will enter Korea with this visa and not a tourist visa. This is not a choice but students will be obligated to use their D-2-6 visa. (Please let us know in advance if the student holds a F-4 Visa or a Korean Passport since they are exempt from visa application.) Unless students have received a multiple entry visa, they cannot leave Korea until they receive their Residence Card (RC). Please find more information here.

二、有關名額部分請詳閱雙方簽訂之相關協議(相關協議請至本院網頁"學術交流與研究"專區下載參閱)，但最終可推薦名額將依對方學校決定辦理。

三、其他相關規定請詳閱雙方簽訂之相關協議(相關協議請至本院網頁"學術交流與研究"專區下載參閱)及該校提供各項說明資料。 

四、請有意申請且符合交換學校所規定各項申請條件者，依以下說明配合辦理相關申請事宜：

           (一)需繳送申請資料：

            1.  One brief essay of personal history and plan of study (one-page minimum)。【除提供中文版以外，另亦請提供英文版或韓文版，而其他撰寫內容說明請詳閱該校網頁說明：https://coordinatorguide.hufs.ac.kr/Fact-Sheet-and-Eligibility】

          2. 若具有符合本校選送優秀學生出國研修之語文能力證明標準之語言證明文件，請檢附。另若有其他英語及韓語相關語言證明文件，亦請檢附。

          3. 符合韓國外國語大學所規定語言條件之語言證明文件。

          4. 本院交換學生甄選報名表【如附檔，需經系主任核章，並檢附英文版歷年總成績單(請提供至114學年度第1學期之英文版歷年總成績單)及歷年總成績班級名次證明書(請提供至114學年度第1學期之歷年總成績班級名次證明書)】。

  (二)上述"需繳送申請資料"之掃描電子檔及本院交換學生甄選報名表WORD電子檔請於115年2月10日(星期二)上午10:00前寄送至chssexchange@gmail.com，信件標題請註明【系名/申請人姓名/學號/申請2026年秋季學期韓國外國語大學交換生】，並於寄送完成後電聯告知，聯絡電話：07-5919251。

 (三)上述"需繳送申請資料"之紙本請於115年2月24日(星期二)上午10:00前送交至院辦公室。

 (四)若於115年2月9日以前，本校未公告至114學年度第1學期之歷年總成績，則可先免提交本校英文版歷年總成績單(請提供至114學年度第1學期之英文版歷年總成績單)掃描電子檔及歷年總成績班級名次證明書(請提供至114學年度第1學期之歷年總成績班級名次證明書)掃描電子檔，惟前述兩項資料紙本請於115年2月24日上午10:00前連同所有需送交紙本資料一併繳送至院辦公室。

五、請有意申請者先勿進行線上申請，經本院審核通過後，將再另行通知審核通過之申請者進行後續線上申請作業，謝謝!!
